Under this scheme, persons kept as bonded labour are released and rehabilitated by providing financial assistance as grant, to the tune of Rs.20,000/- 

 

The objective of this scheme is to impart literacy to Non-Literates in the 15-35 age group, Post Literacy for Neoliterates for sustaining literacy skills

 

Under this scheme, 3 percent of the total seats in Government and Government aided educational institutions have been allotted to the Differently Abled except in Medicine and Engineering courses. 

 

Indira Awaaas Yojana is a social welfare flagship programme, created by the Indian Government, to provide housing for the rural poor in India. The differentiation is made between rural poor and urban poor for a separate set of schemes operate for the urban poor(like the Basic Services for Urban Poor).

 

This is an Indian government welfare programme which provides food, preschool education, and primary healthcare to children under 6 years of age and their mothers. These services are provided from Anganwadi centres established mainly in rural areas and staffed with frontline workers.
