An archive of the Chandela Dynasty, the Government Museum of Jhansi has a rich and varied collection of some important artefacts from their time. Take a walk through history with weapons, statues, dressed and photographs from this significant period. Other highlights include, a picture gallery of the Gupta period and an exclusive gallery on Rani Laxmi Bai. Other interesting remnants of history can also be found in the museum including Terracotta, Bronzes, Manuscripts, Paintings and Coins from various eras.
The Government Museum of Jhansi is open between 10:30am to 4:30 pm and 10:30am to 1:30 pm during the summer. The museum is closed on Mondays and the second Sunday of every month.
